Member of the supporter group John Maynard commented “Providing a voice and a platform for supporters is essential for enabling the growth of the club to continue. The Board are very approachable but some people may not be comfortable going to them directly so we can provide a direct line of communication.
The group will be able to support the club in many ways and we will welcome new members to provide as much positive support as possible.”
Redditch United Chairman David Faulkner added, “We have a great relationship with our supporters. It’s very important that we can collect feedback from a range of supporters and share our plans for the future development of our club.
This group have already started to make an impression and recently set up a meeting for me to meet the Mayor or Redditch which has made a real positive impact on how we can build our relationship with the community and the town.”
FoRU plan to hold regular meetings at Redditch United on the 1st Monday of the month, subject to fixtures. All ideas and suggestions are welcome. Feedback will be given to individual supporters by email, in person or through the match day programme.
