Redditch United Represented at The Redditch Business Awards

On Friday 27th October Redditch United had the pleasure of attending the Redditch Business Awards hosted by the Redditch Business Improvement District (Redditch BID) at the fabulous Palace Theatre.

The Football Club were proud sponsors of the prestigious black-tie event that aims to celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses in the area. The awards highlight the hard work and dedication of local businesses, as well as to encourage the growth and development of the local economy.

Chairman David Faulkner was invited to be on the judging panel for the awards and was on stage to present the Community Hero Award to Isaac Winfield, of Isaac’s Food Bank, alongside event host Lemar.

David Faulkner commented, “I was invited to represent the club and be a judge for the awards off the back of the range of work our club does for the community. A huge thank you to our team who are really helping to make the club an integral part of the town. It was an honour to be on stage with Isaac and present him with his award.”

Reds fans will remember Isaac’s Food Bank were in attendance for our free entry game vs Alvechurch on the 29th December 2022, where an incredible amount was donated. It was fantastic to hand over his award that was well earned – the crowd seemed to agree with the first standing ovation of the evening! We hope to be able to welcome Isaac and his Food Bank to another game over the festive period.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

Charity of the year was awarded to Batchley Support Group, who will attend The Valley Stadium on Saturday 11th November for our fixture against Barwell – we look forward to welcoming you.

In attendance for Redditch United were David Faulkner (Chairman), Iain Wain (Commercial Manager), Alicia Redman (Commercial Sales Executive) & Tia Duckworth (Media & Communications Officer).
