We’re delighted to announce that Reece Flanagan has signed a contract for the following season.

The 28 year old midfielder played 47 games for us last season and finished as our second top goalscorer with 13 goals, one of which was a memorable volley against Mickleover.

Having joined us from Hednesford Town the ex Walsall man has become an integral part of The Reds midfield with an incredible penalty record, and we’re delighted that the midfield maestro will be with us next season.

Manager Matt Clarke commented on the importance of Reece; “First and foremost, one of the biggest priorities as the manager of Redditch United was to secure the services of Reece Flanagan. Reece was probably one of our most creative, if not our most creative player last season. He’s one of the best midfield players in the league and it’s a huge coup for the Club that we’ve managed to keep him, so that’s a real positive. Now we can hopefully get a few more real quality players in, but it’s huge for the Club that we’ve managed to keep Reece.”

Don’t forget our £123 season ticket offer, we’ve already surpassed last year’s sales thanks to your impressive support. Click here to purchase yours.

With less than a month to go before pre-season begins, we have a lot of exciting news to follow so stay tuned for more.
