When I stepped into the role in September, it came as quite a surprise. But it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable journey so far. This season has been all about laying the foundation and beginning to embed the culture we envision at Redditch Women. The squad has responded incredibly well to my appointment—they’ve shown real commitment and worked hard throughout the season, culminating in a fifth-place finish. That’s a significant achievement compared to recent years.
Now, we shift our focus to the season ahead. It will be my first full pre-season with the team and the beginning of my recruitment journey at the club, which I’m genuinely excited about. Our ambition is clear: we aim to challenge for promotion into Tier 5. With the right structure in place and the right additions to complement our talented existing squad, I’m confident we can make that goal a reality.
We’re calling on the people of Redditch to come down to the Valley Stadium on Sundays and show your support for the Reds Women’s team! Weekly fixtures will be posted on our website and across our social media channels, so you’ll always know when to cheer us on.
